Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time Structural Engineer to join its Transportation Business Line in Dubai, UAE. The selected engineer will focus on structural analysis, detailed design calculations, modeling, and comprehensive technical documentation for large-scale transportation projects, including bridges, underpasses, rail structures, stations, and major regional infrastructure initiatives across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel elements in transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed design reports, technical specifications, material options, and construction documentation in full compliance with local authority standards (RTA, Etihad Rail, DDA).
• Utilize industry-standard finite element analysis (FEA) software to model complex bridge structures, underground retaining structures, and station facilities.
• Coordinate structural engineering designs seamlessly with BIM modeling teams, civil engineers, geotechnical specialists, and MEP discipline leads.
• Participate in technical design reviews, respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs), and review technical submittals during construction execution phases.
