About the role
Al Tayer is hiring a driver to move vehicles from the docks to its pre-delivery inspection (PDI) centre, and then on to showrooms across the UAE. You would drive a recovery vehicle (a car carrier truck), so safe loading, careful driving and good route choices are the core of the job.

What you will do

• Keep the recovery vehicle clean every day, and make sure it gets regular servicing as the manufacturer and Al Tayer require.
• Collect vehicles from the docks and the PDI centre and deliver them to showrooms around the UAE.
• Follow the delivery schedule given by the Fleet Coordinator.
• Load and unload vehicles using the correct procedure and safety standards, so there is no damage to the cars, the recovery unit or the public.
• Check each vehicle for scratches, dents or other damage before loading and after unloading, note it on the collection or delivery document, and get the document signed by the customer.
• Follow traffic rules and stay alert while driving to avoid accidents.
• Keep learning UAE roads and locations so you can pick the best routes.
