Job Summary
Aster DM Healthcare is currently hiring a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD) to join its medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing clinical assessments, assisting physicians during outpatient procedures, and managing patient medical records in accordance with healthcare authority standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary clinical triage, evaluate patient vital signs, and document medical history accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist attending physicians and specialists during outpatient examinations, consultations, and minor clinical procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, vaccinations, and treatment plans in compliance with strict medical safety protocols.
- Educate patients and family members regarding medication dosages, post-consultation care instructions, and preventative healthcare measures.
- Maintain hygiene standards, stock medical supplies, and ensure all OPD clinical tools and examination rooms meet quality control regulations.
