Fleet & Light Vehicle Driver – Transguard Group (UAE Wide)
Job Summary
Transguard Group, a leading business services provider in the UAE, is recruiting experienced and professional Fleet & Light Vehicle Drivers. In this vital transport and logistics role, you will be responsible for safely operating company light vehicles, passenger vans, and transport fleets across Dubai and the Emirates. Key duties include transporting personnel, executives, and essential goods, maintaining vehicle readiness, and strictly adhering to UAE road safety laws.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation Operations
- Provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation for Transguard staff, corporate clients, passengers, or cargo across scheduled UAE routes.
- Utilize GPS navigation tools and smart route planning to ensure punctual arrivals while bypassing heavy traffic corridors.
- Conduct daily pre-drive inspections, checking fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes, oil levels, and vehicle cleanliness prior to departure.
- Maintain accurate logbooks recording trip details, mileage, passenger manifests, and daily fuel consumption.
Fleet Maintenance & Compliance
- Strictly observe all UAE federal traffic laws, RTA speed limits, parking regulations, and defensive driving principles.
- Report mechanical issues, wear and tear, or accident incidents immediately to the Transguard Fleet Management team.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, sanitized, and properly equipped with emergency safety kits.
- Assist passengers with luggage or equipment loading/unloading while delivering polite, professional customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Certificate or secondary education diploma.
- Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Manual or Automatic - LMV Category 3) held for a minimum of 2 to 3 years.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of professional driving experience within a corporate fleet, limousine service, transport provider, or logistics company in the UAE.
- Thorough knowledge of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Northern Emirates road networks, key landmarks, and highway routes.
- Good command of spoken and written English; conversational Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.
- Clean driving record with zero major traffic black points or reckless driving history.
