Job Summary
Dubai Taxi Company (DTC), the flagship passenger transport provider under the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, is recruiting professional and customer-focused Fleet & Passenger Drivers. In this vital public transportation role, you will safely transport passengers across Dubai, operate modern fleet vehicles, maintain strict road safety compliance, and deliver exceptional service to residents, business commuters, and international tourists.
Key Responsibilities
Passenger Transport & Fleet Operations
- Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable passenger transportation across Dubai and inter-emirate routes in accordance with DTC operational guidelines.
- Utilize smart dispatch systems, GPS navigation, and digital meter equipment to optimize routes and fulfill customer trip bookings efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, verifying tire pressure, fluid levels, cleanliness, and fuel/charge levels to maintain fleet safety.
- Process trip fares via cash, credit card POS terminals, and Nol digital payment channels accurately.
Road Safety & Customer Excellence
- Strictly adhere to UAE traffic laws, RTA speed limits, passenger safety regulations, and defensive driving principles at all times.
- Deliver polite, respectful customer service, assisting passengers with luggage and accommodating special assistance requirements.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, traffic incidents, or operational disruptions immediately to the DTC central dispatch control center.
- Maintain high personal grooming standards and vehicle cleanliness in alignment with Dubai Taxi Company service expectations.
