Job Summary
Address Hotels + Resorts, the flagship luxury brand of Emaar Hospitality Group (a subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC), is recruiting a dedicated Engineering Technician / Maintenance Ambassador in Dubai. In this vital role within the hotel engineering team, you will ensure the full availability, safety, and serviceability of all hotel facilities and guest assets, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive servicing in a world-class 5-star resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance & Facility Operations
- Execute day-to-day operational tasks within the Engineering department in strict adherence to brand service standards and safety procedures.
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and HVAC assets to eliminate equipment downtime.
- Oversee routine repair work, reconstruction projects, and minor facility alterations while ensuring minimal disruption to guest comfort.
- Participate in emergency recovery plans and maintain full operational readiness for life safety, fire alarm, and backup power systems.
Guest Experience & Interdepartmental Communication
- Proactively communicate with fellow team ambassadors and guest service departments with the guest's best interest at heart.
- Respond promptly to guestroom maintenance requests, going the extra mile to resolve technical issues and prevent service complaints.
- Ensure adequate service recovery and immediate follow-up when facility issues affect guest satisfaction.
- Maintain clean, orderly work areas and adhere to luxury 5-star grooming and behavioral standards at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Certification or Diploma in Maintenance Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven engineering/maintenance experience in a 5-star luxury hospitality environment.
- Solid technical knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for luxury hotel building systems and MEP assets.
- Strong problem-solving ability, guest-centric attitude, and excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible operational shifts, including weekends and night duty when required.
