Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery & Classroom Pedagogy
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons aligned with the curriculum (National Curriculum for England, IB Primary Years Programme, or American Standards).
- Utilize modern educational technologies and interactive learning tools to create engaging classroom experiences for primary learners.
- Assess, record, and report on student development, academic achievement, and behavioral progress in accordance with school assessment frameworks.
- Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, supporting both gifted students and those requiring additional learning support (SEN).
Student Pastoral Care & Parent Engagement
- Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and mutual respect.
- Communicate regularly and constructively with parents regarding student development, academic milestones, and pastoral welfare.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, subject-level planning, continuous professional development (CPD) workshops, and school inspection preparation (KHDA / SPEA).
- Lead or assist with extra-curricular activities, school events, field trips, and house system initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education, Education Studies, or a relevant academic subject.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or state teaching license/certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of full-time primary teaching experience in a recognized international or accredited private school.
- Strong working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, IB PYP, or US Common Core standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills in English.
- Eligibility for Ministry of Education (MOE) / KHDA / SPEA teacher approval in the UAE.
