Job Summary
American University of Sharjah (AUS) is recruiting a strategic and technically proficient full-time Research Systems Manager for its Office of Research Services in Sharjah, UAE. This administrative role leads the management, technical operation, and continuous enhancement of research administration tools, custom enterprise resource planning (ERP) workflow reports, system data integrations, and institutional research policy implementations to directly empower faculty productivity and elevate institutional research output.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management, functionality, and security of institutional research administration software systems and databases.
- Design, configure, and generate custom ERP workflow reports, analytics dashboards, and data queries to support research planning and executive decision-making.
- Coordinate system data integration between research management platforms, university financial systems, and HR database frameworks.
- Partner with internal IT teams, software vendors, and institutional research leadership to translate university policy changes into streamlined digital workflows.
- Provide comprehensive training, system documentation, and technical support to faculty members, principal investigators, and research administrators across all colleges.
