Job Summary
About the role
Mediclinic Middle East is hiring a senior physiotherapist to lead its physiotherapy and rehabilitation service across an assigned group of hospitals and clinics (a “cluster”). This is a leadership job, not a patient-only role. You would set common standards across sites, keep quality and governance strong, and work with clinical and operational teams to improve care. The employer also wants someone who can bring in new ideas and help build a more joined-up rehabilitation programme for the division.
What you will do
- Make the physiotherapy and rehabilitation service consistent across the cluster, and help it grow.
- Find ways to work more efficiently across the business units involved.
- Lead on quality and governance for the service line.
- Support the quality of clinical care by working with clinical and operations colleagues.
- Drive innovation and help develop a combined rehabilitation programme for the division, working across teams.
What the employer is looking for
- At least 8 years as a physiotherapist, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Hospital operations experience is desirable
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution, plus a current licence to practise
- BLS and ACLS certification
- A licence, or eligibility for one, from the relevant UAE health authority
Emiratisation note
The employer says all applicants will be considered, but UAE nationals will get preference under the Emiratisation programme.
